Stupid crook stunt
Today we have the story of a crook about to be sentenced to 30 years in prison. He plea bargains and ends up with 33 years. Why? Because he is too much of a sports fan.
The lawyers reached a plea agreement Tuesday for a 30-year term for a man accused of shooting with an intent to kill and robbery. But Eric James Torpy wanted his prison term to match Bird's jersey number 33.What a moroon! He should have claimed to be a fan of Billy Martin.
"He said if he was going to go down, he was going to go down in Larry Bird's jersey,"

he should have said he was a Jim Otto fan. Otto was the only football player in the NFL to wear the number "00".
